CHET VALLEY VINEYARD
The Chet Valley vineyard is a family run business. The vineyards a situated South of Norwich, and produce White, Rose and Sparkling wines.
The vineyards cover 10hectares and grow over 9 grape varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Regent and Schoneburger.
All wines are sold under “bird names” – the birds seen flying over the vineyards!
SISKIN 2022
A base of Solaris grape with 15% of Schonburger & 15% Phoenix blended with it. A light straw coloured wine with subtle citrus, elderflower and pineapple on the nose. A fresh dry taste of fruit with slight buttery overtones.
REDWING ROSE 2022
A blend of Pinot Noir and Regent with 11% alcohol. A soft pink in colour with aromas of Strawberry yoghurt, with a hint of cherry. Some residual sugar and with balanced acidity
STONECHAT 2022
Produced from 100% Schoneburger and is 11% alcohol. The grapes are hand picked and bentonite finings are used. Sandy loam soil.
Gooseberry, and a hint of elderflower, light and fresh with a little residual sugar.
SKYLARK DEMI-SEC 2021
A sound sparkling wine made from a combination of Seyval Blanc and Phoenix grapes. It shows apple, melon and tropical fruit with a slight toastiness from the secondary fermentation.
