This white wine is made from the Picpoul de Pinet grape variety famously grown in the Languedoc region of France. Light pale yellow in colour with aromas of light grapefruit and gooseberry, all with a hint of spice. Produced very close to the coast where there are many oyster beds the food best suited is seafood, especially oysters. A great wine as an apertif, too, with balanced acidity.
